Bestie's Wedding Weekend

Hi friends!

It's Wednesday.. how the heck did that happen? My bestie (and ZTA little sister) got married this past weekend. I am STILL exhausted from Amy and Tyler's Wedding Weekend. We had the most fun with old AND new friends.

It.was.epic. - and that's an understatement.

The wedding was in beautiful Madison, Georgia. If you've never been to Madison, go... like now. Run out the door and take lots of money with you. The antique shops are amazing. It's just the prettiest, little historic town.

The Bridesmaid luncheon was on Friday at the cutest little restaurant, Tequila Express Cafe. Do NOT let the name fool you. This adorbs little restaurant is NOT some fast food, Mexican joint - it was a Mediterranean, Mexican, and American food Restaurant in an old Train car and depot - so cute!

We enjoyed spending some time together - just as girls! We managed to scarf down that delicious food, then she gave us our Bridesmaid Gifts. Amy is such a great gift giver. We all got silver, glitter flip flops; super cute aprons; cookbooks; earrings; and pretty re-usable bag!

Some of us gal's in our Aprons.

That night the rehearsal dinner took place at Town 220 Bistro. This place was so pretty - and the food was to.die.for. I had the steak and hubs had the salmon. We had a wonderful time celebrating with friends and Amy and Tyler's families.

Friends for nine years... love these ladies!

So happy to see my best friend get married!

On Saturday morning, we had breakfast then made mimosas while Amy started getting ready. Then we headed to the church! Y'all, she was absolutely breathtaking. So beautiful.

My fave part? Amy told us to pick any dark purple dress we wanted. I LOVE how they turned out and I can't wait to wear the dress again! It was a win-win! We took several shots of us in cowboy boots. I am seriously in love with these...

Aren't the different color dresses and styles, fun?? Loved this idea!

Once the ceremony was over, we headed over to the Madison Cultural Center to celebrate... and boy did we celebrate!

Me and the handsome hubs!

With the newlyweds! Love these two!!

She was stunning.

The celebration continued on and on - even at the hotel into the wee hours of the morning! So much fun!! As you can tell, we had an amazing time. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends. Congrats to Amy and Tyler!! Talk soon, friends!

I'm Back!

Hi Friends -

I am so happy to be back and blogging! We have been pretty busy this summer and have been enjoying every minute of it.

We haven't done ANY home improvement projects - we needed a break from that also. With that being said, we are getting excited about all of the projects we have planned for the fall and winter! I will fill you in on those projects in a later post.

Our social calendars have been insane with weddings and wedding events all summer. We have attended five weddings already and we have one more to go!

In May, two of our greatest friends, Heather and Marcus got married. It was a beautiful ceremony and she was one gorgeous bride!

Meagan, Heather, Amy and myself at Heather and Marcus' wedding!

The four of us girls have been best friends since college. We have been a bridesmaid for both Meagan and Heather. All three were in mine and hubs' wedding three years ago.

And this coming up weekend, we are all bridesmaids in Amy's wedding! I am so excited for her and her husband-to-be! I will be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you guys!

We are so blessed to have such great friends and to have been able to stay close with them through the years.

I am so happy to be back blogging again. I did really need the break - but I missed y'all so much. Thanks for all the comments, emails and tweets! Talk soon, Friends (VERY SOON)!

xoxo,
Brandi Nell
