Sadie's First Birthday Party

If you follow my blog on the reg, you know that I am smitten with all of my little munchkins (I have 8 nieces & nephews + a bunch more little ones I love to love on).

Sadie, my niece and BFF, had her first birthday party this weekend. The party was "You Are My Sunshine" themed. Her mother (my sis), Brittney, knows how to throw a party.

I served as "photographer" for the party... yes, this is in quotes because I know ZIP about photography.  Still, it was fun - and I loved capturing all the adorable details of the day.

Get ready for a LONG post FULL of pictures :)

Wasn't that just THE cutest party?!? We had so much fun!

 Love this sweet girl!

Hope you have a great week, thanks for letting me share! Talk soon, friends!

Playing Catch up!

Hi lovies -

Hope you guys are having a great week.  The weather in Atlanta is having an identity crisis.  It has been warm and sunny one day, then cold and dreary the next.  I am so looking forward warmer (and consistent) weather.

This past weekend was Easter.  We stayed here in Atlanta for the first time in many years. Hubs was excited to share the special day with our friends church.  He was also extremely eager to debut his seer sucker suit this season.

In other news, yesterday (Wednesday) was my birthday.  Remember a couple of months ago, Hubs surprised me with this car?  It was supposed to be my valentines, birthday, and anniversary gifts combined.

I'm still loving driving it around.

Well, he tricked me and bought me a new watch.  I've loved my gold MK watch, but wanted a silver one too.  He did a great job!  It's beautiful.

Yes, he also surprised me with flowers at work.
And yes, I do realize how much he spoils me.  :)

Last night, my best friends joined me for dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant.  We had the most fun.
We all look like werewolves with our eyes glowing.

I must say, the last 29 years have been pretty good to me.

Did you catch that.... 29?!?!  Next year, I'll be in my 30s. My youth is passing me by.  I've decided I need to do some crazy things this year... things you only do in your 20s.  I am for sure going skydiving.  What else do you think I should do?  I need some ideas.  I'll be blogging about them throughout the year.

This weekend is Sadie's 1stBirthday party.  You KNOW I'll have lots of pics to share.  Hope you guys have a great weekend!  Talk soon!

xoxo
